I cannot think of a more beautiful place for this re-staining project. Wood can take a beating on the sea but a good staining plan will help it last a lifetime.
It doesn't get much harder than cutting brown into white but what a fun challenge! "Topped off" with a gorgeous accent by using a color-matched stain on that top rail.
The beauty of "Lifetime" stain is that it truly lasts a lifetime. While on first glance looking like aged cedar, it is in fact a quickening of the natural chemical reaction of aging wood. You get the look, your siding lasts forever, but you control how even that patina is applied. A one coat wonder!
I love this before and after! What a change on this marine motor after this job was done. Just needed a little sprucing up but man does it make a difference!

What a fun and challenging custom job this was! It's always so rewarding to breathe new life into an antique and see it live another day.
